A Symposium on Courtesy and Humility: Dante on The Forgotten Virtue of Friendship

Students are invited to join Collegium Institute for the first Symposium event of the academic year, led by Paul Camacho (Villanova University) on Friday, September 20 from 6-8pm in Picotte Hall at Dundale Mansion on Villanova’s campus.

Dr. Paul Camacho will speak on Dante and the Forgotten Virtues of Friendship. Following his remarks, we will discuss several short readings over a delicious Italian dinner.

The Symposium Series brings together students from the Villanova Humanities Department, the Collegium Institute, and the Templeton Honors College at Eastern University. Each university hosts one of the Symposium events in the fall or spring. The theme for this year’s Symposium series is friendship.

Location: Picotte Hall at Dundale Mansion (Villanova University)

Attire: Business casual

Transportation to and from Penn’s campus will be provided by Collegium.
