Collegium Institute, in partnership with the Penn Newman Center, invites college students to apply for the Spring 2026 Catholic Humanism Fellowship. Each semester is an independent fellowship, and student fellows who complete all four will be awarded Collegium’s Certificate in Catholic Thought.
We are pleased to announce this semester’s fellowship as: “The Good: What is Distinctive About Christian Ethics?”. Across six lunchtime seminar sessions, we will explore what what the good life is, which ethical challenges Christianity raises and which conundrums it solves, and how discerning good action leads the mind to a deeper understanding of God from whom all goodness comes. Through readings from writers including Charles Taylor, Dorothy Day, John Paul II, and Julian of Norwich, we will undertake our study of the Good as pilgrims motivated by restless hearts.
Dates: Fridays, 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm.
