Boccaccio’s De Claris mulieribus (Fall 2026 Post-Classical Latin Workshop)


Collegium Institute invites you to join us for our Post-Classical Latin Workshop, held weekly on Monday afternoons to practice Latin translation and examine post-classical texts, history, culture, while enjoying refreshments. This fall, we will begin with Boccaccio's version of the Heroines of the Odyssey, De Claris mulieribus (1361/2). Our discussions will be facilitated by Professor Anne E. Moyer (Penn Department of History). 
 

The first session will be held on Monday, September 14 in College Hall at the University of Pennsylvania. Penn and Drexel Latinists of all levels are invited to join us for this convivial workshop. 

Dates: Weekly on Mondays, 4:00 - 5:00 PM
