Reflections on Friendship

Zena Hitz is back!  Well, her texts are.  Having just spoken on the religious aspects of university life at Collegium’s 10th anniversary keynote lecture last month, for our first Symposium of the year students will use her brief essay, “Other Monks” as a springboard for a communal reflection on friendship and feasting.

The Symposium Series is a dinner seminar series that draws together students from University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, Villanova University, and Eastern University for collegial conversation about fundamental questions. For the 2023-24 academic, our conversations will center around the theme of Friendship.

This opening Symposium seminar, "Reflections on Friendship," will take place at 5:30pm at Eastern University.  The reading for the session can be found here.
